A dog with two tails?

A dog with two tails? Life often feels like a relentless pursuit, like a dog chasing its own tail. Yet, the old saying, “As happy as a dog with two tails," paints a picture of boundless joy and contentment, mirroring the happiness we experience with Christ. We chase nothing in Him.

Think about it. His presence gives us the ability to cope with life's challenges, offering hope and peace amidst the chaos. Could we ask more?

God’s Word tells us: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest”(Matthew 11:28-30).”

Having Christ in our lives transforms perspective, enabling us to rejoice in His goodness despite our circumstances. Like the dog with two tails, we overflow with gratitude for the blessings that surround us—the love of family and friends, the beauty of creation, and the hope found in Christ's promises. Cling to Jesus, knowing that He’s faithful to fulfill His promises. As we do, we will be doubly blessed—filled with joy and contentment, even in the midst of life's trials.

We pray. “Father, as we embrace You in our lives, grant us grace to see through Your  eyes. May we overflow with gratitude for Your blessings, finding joy in every circumstance. Help us to cling to You, confident in Your promises In Jesus name. Amen!”

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.

Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34)
