As unto Him?

As unto Him? Sometimes we forget whose image we’re made in and God is no dumbbell. It’s His image that He’s aiming for. He doesn’t want you and I to become something that we’re not. He wants us to become according to His image.

Think about it. I believe that God has something extremely important for every Christian to understand. When we see ourselves already as having the dignity, value, and worth that God has uniquely put into each of us from when He conceived us, we know we are becoming as unto Him.

God’s Word tells us: But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation… (1 Peter 2: 8a).

Our ability to live our lives in the image of the One who has made us becomes not only possible but a certainty. We need to truly realize that God is no dumbbell. And, guess what, you and I aren’t either; unless we worship a God who isn’t as smart as He says He is. Based on what we see He has created in us and around us, there ought to be no question.

“I pray today in Jesus name that we awake every day with the knowledge of this truth: God has made us and we are not accidental; we are purposed. He has made us unto Himself, and there is higher calling.” Amen!

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
