Cinderella comback?

Cinderella comebacks? There are just some times when you and I have to be realistic and throw in the towel. How often have you heard this advice: “Hey, you’ve done your best, there’s nothing more to do.” Common advice? You bet! But think about it for a moment–is it?

Think about it. Sometimes life presents us with situations that scream utterly “It isn’t going to happen.” We’ve done our best and kept a positive attitude, but grinding out a victory securely snatched in the jaws of defeat is most often utterly hopeless.

God’s Word tells us: “Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, ‘So shall your offspring be’” (Romans 4:18).

The next time you’re faced with the utterly impossible and the spirit within you is pushing you to try even harder, reach down and call on a spiritual “do or die.” You might just make the utterly improbable possible, merely by believing. When God is in the game there’s no telling what might happen. Odds don’t matter to the Almighty and “Cinderella Comebacks” are His specialty.

“I pray today in Jesus name that when all seems lost, and we just really don’t see a way out, we turn to You oh Lord and look for your often miraculous guidance. One thing we can always count on is to God, nothing is impossible. Amen!”

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
