Dark premium?

Dark premium? Weekends offer so much more than the weekdays since we’re able to sleep several extra hours, wear more comfortable clothes and keep a much more flexible schedule. Similarly, it’s the dark and tedious times of life that offer promise of a brighter day, just around the corner.

Think about it. Chilling winds of adversity and grey skies of a sinful environment can easily discourage us. But we can always count on better days because we know God is working in our lives.

God’s Word tells us: Jesus tells us that “(he) has given us authority . . . to overcome all the power of the enemy” (Luke 10:19).

That means that however dark our days might be, they are only the darkness that shadows the dawn. Our lives have value and meaning despite the sorrow because of the sunshine that is sure to follow the rain. If it’s raining in your life today, take hope. God’s weekend is just around the corner. The sun will shine again.

“I pray today in Jesus name that the dark times in life when it seems that God is silent and there is not end to our grief and pain, we look up to heaven from where our help comes. It will.” Amen!

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
