Divine package?

Divine package? “Bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh.” With these words Woman came into the world. In that sense, Man gave life to Woman. But, as the old saying goes, “in turn, Woman gave life to the world.” God didn’t take woman from Man’s head to rule over him. He didn’t take her from his feet so that he could dominate her. Rather, he took Woman from Man’s side, under his arm, so that he could protect her and keep her near to his heart.

Think about it. God meant Man and Woman to share in that way, just as he ordained that the blood shed by our Savior on the cross came from his side so that we might be secured from hurt and pain in this world until we reach the next.

God’s Word tells us: “And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and a flesh of my flesh: she shall be called bWoman, because she was taken out of Man. (Genesis 4:17).

Can you think of any better way to share love than this? Man and woman shall forever be joined in equality and subjection to one another. Equality and subjection rolled into one, divine package; a pretty great plan that only a loving God could have conceived.

“Heavenly Father, You have given us marriage as a blessing of fulfillment and joy. We praise You for ordaining it to be the best way loving and living in this world. You have given it order and purpose. In Jesus name, Amen!”

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
