God's way?

His way? What’s the most important business God gives us in our lives? It’s understanding the authority of His Word in our lives. If we truly love Him and are truly committed to remaining obedient and subject to His Word, we will put nothing in front of Him, not even those we love.

Think about it. Putting God first isn’t easy. As we deal daily with those we love and the world we live in, the things which He has given us to “rule” over, it’s easy to forget who has ultimate authority over us, God

.

God’s Word tells us: “‘Woman, why do you involve me’ Jesus replied. My hour has not yet come.’ His mother said to the servants, ‘Do whatever he tells you.’” (Mark 10: 4-5).

He knocks at the door of our hearts daily and reminds us that all authority is given to Christ and it is through Him that God’s will is done here on earth. God steps in and gently reminds us that there is a higher will than ours–His! It may be a cataclysmic event in our lives or merely a simple test. Either way, He’s always eager to shepherd us back into His authority in Christ. He has a purpose for our lives, a purpose realized in obedience to His will.

“I pray today in Jesus name that each day we keep ourselves firmly founded in the will to remain obedient to our Lord, putting Him first in everything we do, above all others and all things. Amen!”

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
