Handling it? Did you ever wonder why some people are able to handle fear better than others? When we are not in control, we are often gripped by fear allowing our own thoughts to bring that fear about.
Think about it. Are you content to live with your fears and abide in their shadows, content to dwell in the valley always looking up at the mountains? If not, take stock of your fears today and grip them instead of them gripping you.
God’s Word tells us: “...I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until that day.” (2 Timothy 1: 3-12).
Make a list of things that you are afraid of. On one side make a column labeled “Gripped by these fears!” In the middle a column entitled “The Last Time I Controlled This Fear.” On the far side a column labeled, “Can God handle it?” But, remember, a “No” answer begs the question, “If God can’t handle it, who can?”
“I pray today in Jesus name that we put ourselves into God’s merciful and protecting hands with the full confidence that He can handle anything that can happen to us, always.” Amen!”
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
