Missing something?

Something missing? Did you ever have that feeling that there was something missing in your life? You really couldn’t put your finger on exactly what it was. You just had this feeling that there was something missing. The emptiness doesn’t go away and just like someone preserving a room in their house for someone who will never return, we are forever reluctant to close off that space and put it to some other use.

Think about it. God knows about those spaces in the heart as well and He’s the expert on filling them up, if only we let Him.

God’s Word tells us: “Jesus said to them, ‘It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners’” (Mark 2:17).

Do you ever feel that your dreams have been shattered and you feel all alone in the darkness of despair? God will put a song in your heart, a song of gratitude and love for all that He has done for you. Is there an empty space in your heart longing to be filled? Let God fill it with compassion. You won’t be lonely for your dreams. There simply won’t be room.

“I pray today in Jesus name that each of us will take to the Lord today the missing feelings and needs in our lives that He and only He can address. Let us fill those needs with His resources.” Amen!

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
