Strength in numbers? One thing about trouble, any that you might be suffering from has been suffered from before. Trouble may have its way with you one-on-one; but when others suffer with us, trouble is often put to flight.
Think about it. Trouble in life can be very problematic. Sometimes those really big problems, so big that we have great difficulty facing them alone, need the help of others who’ve faced them before, and have a grasp on what needs to be done.
God’s Word tells us: “…you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.” (1 Peter 2:5).
We often feel we’re facing unique problems, but in reality, not. No matter what we face, there are always others suffering the same as us or, perhaps, worse. So, why does God throw so many of us into the same pot of trouble? In order to insulate His church, from the trouble around us, he puts us together. In numbers we are strong no matter the trouble.
“I pray today in Jesus name that when we are faced with difficult problems in life, we turn to other Christians in our lives who’ve seen problems before and know how to help. May we always seek comfort in the church. Amen!”
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
