Taking it with you?

You can take it with you? Integrity! For $10,000,000, in a recent survey, many would abandon family (25%), church (25%), become prostitutes (23%), give up citizenship (16%), leave spouses (16%), let a murderer go free (10%), kill a stranger (7%), or put their kids up for adoption (3%). These statistics show people might do anything for money. High ideals falter when "me" takes precedence.

Think about it. What price integrity? In a society that is so focused on self, integrity is something that’s often sold at far cheaper rates than $10,000,000.

God’s Word tells us: “Better the poor whose walk is blameless than a fool whose lips are perverse (Proverbs 19:1).”

Being "blameless" isn't motivating people anymore. Fear of missing out leads them to risk everything dear to win. Our priorities are skewed, valuing desires over our word. The Bible teaches that integrity's worth can't be measured, and a "blameless walk" in poverty surpasses life's pleasures. You can't take wealth with you, only integrity.

We pray. “Heavenly Father, help us to value integrity above all else. Guide us to walk blamelessly, prioritizing Your teachings over fleeting desires. May we hold true to our word, embracing the eternal worth of a pure heart. Strengthen us to seek righteousness, not worldly rewards. In Jesus Christ name. Amen.”

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.

Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34)
