In God's presence?

Blinded by His presence? In an experiment, Isaac Newton gazed at the sun's reflection in a mirror, becoming transfixed. His eyes suffered temporary blindness from the brightness burned into his retinas. Even after hiding in darkness for three days, the sun's image persisted, though Newton eventually fully recovered his sight.

Think about it. Often, our relationship with God is like that. He wants a relationship with us; He wants to cover us with His grace. But we can’t even stand in His holiness for an instant or we might be blinded by its perfection.

God’s Word tells us: "Your statutes, Lord, stand firm; holiness adorns your house for endless days”(Psalms 93:5).”

Living in God’s presence, like staring at the sun, reveals our inability to meet His standards. Yet, through Christ, we can approach God without fear. In Him, we find the confidence to navigate the depths of spiritual separation and embrace God's holiness.

We pray. “Heavenly Father, in Your presence, we're humbled by our shortcomings. Yet, through Christ, we approach You without fear. Grant us confidence to embrace Your holiness, navigating the depths of spiritual separation with faith. In Jesus name. Amen!”

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.

Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34)
