Reliability?

Reliability? Ever took bad advice like "Don't worry, there's enough oil in that engine?” Then regretted it? Trusting half-right advice, you learned the hard way. Now you realize: checking now is vital. Always act right away; because procrastination leads to regret.

Think about it. If only the advice that we got every day from those who seem to care was always 100% true!

God’s Word tells us: “Lord Almighty, blessed is the one who trusts in you (Psalms 84:12).”

Don’t be too free with your advice and, don’t be too free to take it either. Before giving or receiving advice, it is always advisable to check with God first. Ask Him to bless it and eliminate the misinformation first. So test your actions, your opinions and your decisions by His Word. He’s the only one with reliable advice about the uncertainties as well as the certain blessings that awaits those who look to heaven for their help.

We pray. “Heavenly Father, guide our words and hearts. Grant discernment before giving or receiving advice. Bless it with Your wisdom, removing misinformation. May Your Word be our measure of the blessings of your advice. In Jesus name. Amen!”

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.

Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34
