Show love?



Show love? Disputes are to be settled, without regard to first what is fair to us. When someone harms or defames us without cause, stretching fairness to its utmost, we’re naturally inclined to seek first our rights and worry about the consequences later.


Think about it. Jesus says that we must first seek to pay our debt to our adversary before considering what may or may not be fair to us. It is more important to God that we show kindness than kindness be shown to us.


God’s Word tells us: “Settle matters quickly with your adversary who is taking you to court. Do it while you are still together on the way, or your adversary may hand you over to the judge, and the judge may hand you over to the officer, and you may be thrown into prison.” (Matthew 5:25).


For it is in giving that we receive and pardoning that we are pardoned.” When disputes arise in your life be quick to end them without first thinking of how fair or unfair it might be to you. Show love, seek to understand and place your pardon out front before you seek justice. Show love.


“Lord, I trust in your forgiveness and grace. I ask that your Spirit work in my heart to release any grudges that I may have against anyone. I also ask that the Holy Spirit will help me to forgive those against whom I have held grudges and will help me to see them in a new and more loving light. In Jesus name. Amen.”


“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Eac
