Tall order?

Sometimes real, heavy loads make for real heavy purpose. They can lead to another spiritual level. Whatever the case, pushing against the taller tasks in life are often a way for God to introduce us to spiritual highs.

Think about it. God is looking for tremendous commitment in our spiritual lives. To get there, there’s often a tall order of spiritual business hanging in the balance. These are the difficult times in life when God asks you to tough it out.

God’s Word tells us: “Be happy, for when the way is rough, your patience has a chance to grow. Then you will be ready for anything, strong in character, full and complete” (James 1:3-4).

Your hills may be high and steep, but you’ll never know how much you’ve got spiritually unless you push it to the limit. Don’t set low goals with low expectations and low achievement. The tall orders in life are the ones that really matter for spiritual growth.

“I pray today in Jesus name for the endurance, deep faith and willingness to sacrifice and endure when God burdens us with the heavy tasks that test us deeply, but grow us spiritually. Amen!”

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
