Temptation?

Fear temptation? We often go to great lengths to make sure that our appointments are worry-free and go off without a hitch. Details, details! Appointments need to be kept. And when they do there is always the faint feeling of wondering if we made the appointment that had to race through our mind, however ridiculous it may have been to think it.

Think about it. In a way that’s how you and I have been “appointed” to deal with temptation in this life. Every day we have an appointment with sin, whether we like it or not. There’s no getting around that appointment.

God’s Word tells us: Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. (1 Peter 3: 13).

There is a way of making sure that however difficult these appointments are, they still can be worry free. The devil is in the detail. Sin may be an ever-looming appointment. The fact is, it’s one appointment God gives us the freedom to miss. Sin is harmful; temptation is only the appointment with sin. Fear sin, not temptation.

“I pray today in Jesus name each of remember that the devil is in the detail. Sin may be an ever-looming appointment. The fact is, it’s one appointment God gives us the freedom to miss..” Amen!

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34) www.thispassingday.com
