Whole new model? God promises to restore us to a state of perfection on judgment day, and all creation is judged. God promises us through Christ that whatever isn’t working perfectly in us here on earth will be perfected in heaven. Whatever is broken here will be mended perfectly there. Even though we will have these same bodies, they will be changed forever because God will give us a glorified body, unblemished by sin without any need for repair again.
Think about it. Because Christ has defeated death, He has removed its hold over us. It can never triumph over us. It has lost its sting.
God’s Word tells us: “The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body.”” (1 Corinthians 15-35-58).
Are you feeling broken and in need of repair? Your Savior awaits to carry you to the Father and request that final and perfect repair. You will still be you but you will be changed forever. May God be praised!
